What You Will Do
The mini safari takes you to the only wildlife game in the world park located within a capital city. It provides the same experience as other major wildlife reserves in the country without travelling a long distance. This park also has a huge variety of wildlife and 4 of the big 5 can be found here. The only missing member of the big 5 is the elephant. It is a flexible safari and can be fine tuned according to the requirements of a traveler.

This mini safari is recommended for transit passengers at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport or someone who wants a few hours safari. One of the best way for a transit passenger to pass time at the JKIA airport in Nairobi is to a have a mini safari in Nairobi National Park. It is a short drive from the airport and boost of being the only wildlife national park in the world within a capital city. The park is made of wide open grass plains, scattered acacia bush and play host to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded. All this in the backdrop of the city scrapers. You will be picked and driven to Nairobi National Park through the east gate or main gate. Upon entry, you will be driven around viewing the parks diverse wildlife. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped back at the airport or at the point where you were picked.
