Visit the splendid Hassan II Mosque (or Grande Mosquée Hassan 2) and get an up-close view at this edifice dominating Casablanca's skyline and seaside landscape, and discover how really large and intricate it is. It's the 2nd largest mosque in Africa and the 7th largest in the world. It's also the only mosque in the world that stands half over an ocean. Hassan 2 mosque is the only mosque in Morocco where non-Muslims can enter and wander around the prayer halls on guided tours that are run by the mosque. The tours begin at the mosque's western entrance several times a day.
