3-Hour Cooking Class overlooking the Blue City

Nowhere else would you be able to cook luscious tajines overlooking the beautiful blue medina and mountains of Chefchaouen. In this experience we pick out fresh produce from the local markets then take a pleasant 20 minute walk through the medina up to the family farm where you will follow along with me, an experienced cooking class instructor and lover of Moroccan food, as we make the tajine of your choice. The farm is a gorgeous piece of property in the foothills of the mountains right next to the medina. It has more than 500 fruit and olive trees and offers the best view of the sunset in Chefchaouen. You’ll be shown true Moroccan hospitality as we share tea, and talk about the history and culture of Morocco while we prepare our meal. There is a wide variety of meal options including vegetarian and gluten free, and after the class you’ll be provided with a pdf with all the recipes so you can keep cooking Moroccan food when you’re back home.
