What You Will Do
Step into the heart of Hermanus, a realm where nature’s giants grace our waters and history whispers its tales. At ‘Whale Wonders’, you’re not just a spectator – you’re the hero of an epic marine adventure. Have a magnificent peaceful day of scenic views and a whale-watching boat trip. The coastal waters off Hermanus are home to a spectacular range of marine wildlife, but the only way to enjoy truly up-close views is by boat. This Whale watching tour offers an exciting way to witness the majestic southern right whales that come to the Cape each season to breed and calve. You may spot other wildlife such as dolphins, seals, and otters as well. Hermanus is the best land-based whale-watching site in the Cape and is the only town in the world that has a ‘whale crier’ officially on duty during the whaling season.
