What You Will Do
Snaking along the ridge of the mountains from Simatai West to Jinshanling. It takes you through crumbling, ancient watch towers along the way. It is extremely photogenic! The 15 fascinating variety watch-towers(Some are with two or three stories, and some are with only flat roofs), and steep gradients that give constantly changing perspectives and wide, open views. This section of the wall is wild, ruined, preserved and original. On a clear day, you can take great photos here. If you like a challenging hiking tour, don't miss this one out! (total hiking time is around 3 to 4 hours).
