Taj Mahal
From 12 hours to 14 hours
Early in the morning you will be picked up by a private vehicle, and set off for 4-hour journey to Agra. Your first stop will be the Taj Mahal. Agra is the city of the Taj Mahal - perhaps the most-photographed monument in the world. At dawn you can experience the magic caused by the reflections of the changing colors of the rising sun. Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays. After Taj Mahal, you will ride to the massive Agra Fort. The elegant buildings reflect an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles, built by Emperor Akbar. Explore the maze of courtyards, mosques and private chambers of the fort, that echo the story of the Mughal Empire . Afterwards, you will have an Indian lunch and after lunch you will drive to Fatehpur Sikri. It is a perfectly preserved city from the height of its empire’s splendor. You will have 90 minutes of exploring, before you head back to Agra. Afterwards you will be dropped back to your hotel in Delhi.
