What You Will Do
Explore the traditional art of Jaipur Blue Pottery, a craft introduced to India centuries ago from Persia and now cherished as a hallmark of Jaipur’s culture. In this immersive workshop, hosted at the studio of award-winning artist Gopal Saini, participants can dive deep into the world of Blue Pottery—from learning to prepare a special clay-free dough to moulding, painting, and glazing pieces.
As you craft and decorate your own plate, you’ll gain insight into the meditative practice that has captivated Mr. Saini’s family for generations. Your personalised pottery piece will be kiln-fired to achieve its signature glaze, ready to be cherished as a memorable keepsake.
