What You Will Do
Meet with our English speaking guide at lobby hotel, full day excursion Jakarta Highlight, began its history in the 14th Century as a small harbour town and today is a bustling metropolis. Visit Old town of Jakarta will be made to the china town at Glodok commercial center. Next visit is the Jakarta’s old port - Sunda Kelapa Harbor, Wooden 2-masted pinisi sailing ships still moor there, while porters move goods to and from as they have since the 13th century. Then visit Istiqlal Mosque-the largest mosque in South East Asia can hold 200.000 people and Jakarta Cathedral – this impressive 1901 neo-gothic church is the current seat of the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Jakarta. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. Continue visit the National Museum is an archaeological, historical, ethnological and geographical museum. Visit the National Monument opened in 1975, it was built to commemorate the struggle for Indonesian Independence. Afterward transfer to hotel.
