What You Will Do
Visit Pamukkale, the center of natural thermal spring waters, which in Turkish translates to "Cotton Castle." You'll visit the travertines, the ancient city of Hierapolis, the sacred pool, and will get to discover what this spectacular city has to offer. The whole area, which is under protection as a UNESCO Mixed Heritage Site, hosts some of the best-preserved examples of Roman architecture. The ancient street that passes through the necropolis, which contains more than a thousand sarcophagi, will lead you to the inner city where you'll see the Byzantine Gate, The Domitian Gate, and the baths. And then, you'll visit the sacred pool, which even the renowned Queen Cleopatra herself came to visit, has natural healing features, and a magical appearance. After the tour, we'll drive to your hotel in Kusadasi.
