What You Will Do
Enjoy a comfortable transportation from the center of Sofia to two UNESCO heritage sites – the Rila Monastery and the Boyana Church. At the monastery, you will have about 3 hours free time to explore the complex, the museums and to have a lunch break. Then, on the way back we will stop at the Boyana Church, famous for its 800- years old frescoes. The expected return in the center of Sofia is between 5:00 – 5:30 pm.

Board a comfortable van/ bus and enjoy a 2-hour scenic drive to the Rila Monastery. There, if you have booked the self- guided tour, you will have 3 hours to explore the monastery complex and to have a lunch break OR if you have booked the guided option - you will also have about 40- minute guided tour in the monastery,. Then, on the way back to Sofia, we will stop at the Boyana church, famous for its 800- years old frescoes. The expected return in Sofia is between 5:00 - 5:30 pm.
