Croatia and Dubrovnik offer enological and gastronomic products that have been recognized for their quality in the world's biggest competitions like Decanter in London (wine) and NYIOOC (olive oil). However, due to relatively limited production, sometimes they remain undetected by visitors.

Old Town

While we are walking through the Old Town of Dubrovnik (also known as The Pearl of Adriatic), we will pass by all the major attractions, such as Revelin fort, Ploče gate, Lazareti, Franciscan monastery, Onofrio's fountain, Rupe museum, Farmers market and Jesuits stairs and Rector's Palace. In the Old town, we are going to visit 4 family-run places. In the first one, there will be a guided evaluation of olive oil, where you are going to learn how to easily recognize the main characteristics of extra virgin olive oil (15 minutes). After that, we are going to two restaurants where we'll try 4 wines paired with four dishes (a total of 60 min). In the end, we are going to have dessert in the last place. In between, we are going to learn about the history of Dubrovnik and the historical-cultural context of food and wine on the tour.
