What You Will Do
An exciting walking tour in the historic center of Sorrento with a local guide.
We will observe enchanting valleys, churches, palaces and ancient monuments.
I will tell you the history, legends and myths of Sorrento.
We will walk through the narrow alleys of ancient Sorrento, with its medieval gates and clothes hanging in the sun. We will visit an authentic limoncello factory and I will tell you the secrets of growing the typical lemons of Sorrento, famous all over the world. Descending towards the sea, we will arrive at the Cloister of San Francesco, with its enchanted atmosphere. We will conclude our tour in "Marina Grande", the ancient fishing village of Sorrento, the set of one of the most famous films in Italian cinematographic history, its colorful boats, the crystal clear sea, the smell of fresh fish and the Church of Sant'Anna, patroness of pregnant women. We will go up, to finish our Tour, along the ancient Roman road and skirting the ancient city walls, up to the point of return.
