During an individual tour of Miramare Castle, you can explore the former apartments of Archduke Maximilian (later Emperor of Mexico) and his wife Charlotte. The spectacular location of this fairytale castle with its lush park alone is worth a visit - and I will gladly tell you the tragic story of the Archduke who was murdered in Mexico and his mad wife.
