What You Will Do
Meet your guide in central Rome at your selected start time.
Avoid the long lines of visitors at the ticket office and enjoy the visit at your own pace, starting a magnificent journey through the history of art and religion and take advantage of the priority entrance ticket to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel.
Admire Renaissance masterpieces in Raphael's Rooms and rest in the Borgia Apartment, as well as Roman and Greek sculptures in the Belvedere courtyard.
Finally, contemplate the marvelous Sistine Chapel by Michelangelo, the flagship of the Vatican.
Then skip the lines at St. Peter's Basilica. Visit the largest basilica in the world, believed to be located above the tomb of St. Peter, and see highlights including Michelangelo's Pietà and Bernini's Altar (Baldacchino).
Outside, admire St. Peter's Square as you hear Vatican history and explore the rarely seen underground "Vatacombs," which house the tombs of former popes, before the tour concludes in the square.
