Meeting Point
The meeting point with your guide is outside the ticket office of Villa Reale at 3 pm. If you are in Lucca and do not have your own means of transportation, you can take the 59 bus to Marlia (bus fare is not included in the tour price). The bus ride is about 40 minutes.

Villa Reale di Marlia

The visit begins at the ticket office situated in one of the Twin Houses that open onto a vast semicircular area located in front of the entrance to the villa. The entrance is in neoclassical style with wrought iron gates and columns decorated with huge, exquisite, flower-filled marble vases. Upon entry, we walk along a path surrounded by hedges and trees. The path leads to a small hill top that offers a magnificent view of the expanse of the park including the small church, the lake, and the Bishop’s Villa.
