What You Will Do
In the Maritime Museum Rotterdam, you can discover the enormous effect that the maritime world has on our daily lives. Travel through the maritime past and present in modern exhibitions for adventurers large and small. Listen to stories, admire prize exhibits from our leading collection or join in some of the numerous activities. The museum is located in one of the oldest and largest museum harbours of the Netherlands, where you can visit historic ships and cranes, and experience how the world’s leading port of Rotterdam began at this location. In the museum harbour you can also visit our workshops. Here we make and repair parts for our historic collection of ships and cranes.
