Meeting Point
Sibiu
1
Big Square (Piata Mare)
30 minutes
The postcard image of Sibiu, the Large Square is the biggest of all the historical spaces in the Upper Town. Today, the Large Square is an open-air exhibition of fine Baroque-style monuments like the must-visit Brukenthal Museum and many more aristocratic residences from the past centuries. The space of the Square is also representative of the religious diversity of Sibiu that once meant powerful churches fighting for domination.
