Learn all about how silk changed Valencia forever. When we talk about the silk era of Valencia, we talk about its golden years, when the city blossomed. El Gremi de Velluters, one of the key producers of silk and velvet in Valencia, established his factory in the XV century, in the same building that is today the Valencia's Silk Museum. Here, you can learn all his secrets: how silk was discovered, how they used to breed the species of worm that produces silk, how they created this elaborate and luxurious fabric together and who was wearing it at the time.
