What You Will Do

Half-day morning tour on lake Zurich!

We’ll tour the northern part of the lake, close to Zurich: we’ll start off in Wollishofen and head towards Enge and the Old Town.

First, we’ll pass the Lion statue by Enge harbor, then we’ll stop by the famous Aquaretum fountain to take some photos.

10 minutes later we’ll enter the Limmat river by going under the Quaibrücke before reaching the Grossmünster on the right and the Fraumünster on the left, our half-way mark.

On the way back to Wollishofen we’ll enjoy the astounding views of the Alps in the south and go ashore for a coffee-break in Kilchbergs Mönchhof.

Other stops are possible anywhere so you can jump-off the boat, swim or tan or just relax.

If you are interested, you can experiment steering the boat, both at low and high speeds and learn about boatmanship.

Options:
-water sports package (wakeboarding, tow-surfing, kneeboarding, tubing)
-transfers (else, please make your way to our base in Wollishofen)

Formed by the river Linth and itself originating from meltwater of Glarus Alps glaciers in the South, the water exits through the river Limmat in Zurich. Fun fact: lake Zurich last froze up in 1963 and this happens only three times per century on average. Its water is so clean and potable that it is fed into the Zurich city water system after only minimal purification.
