Underground Adventure in Snowdonia

Explore an abandoned underground slate mine following the old quarryman's footsteps, with various challenges along the journey including; a zipline, abseil, boat crossing and a number of climbs. All of which are optional and can be avoided by more nervous participants.

There will be options to learn about history and processes that created these caverns and tunnels, for those that are interested. If you've been underground before, get in touch, we have a number of underground adventures to keep you coming back for more.

This activity is very popular with families and school groups, but we also guide a number of couples and adult groups. There is about a 30minute walk up hill to approach this mine and at the end of the trip you'll emerge near the top of the mountain and hopefully have lovely views walking down.

This activity is located just outside of Betws y Coed. We'll send a google maps link to the meeting point, along with a postcode once your booking has been confirmed. We like to meet you as close to the activity location as reasonable, this way we maximise activity time and reduce driving time.
