As you travel along and pass by the big salt hills that have been a part of Bonaire's history since the 17th century on our way to the Sorobon Beach for a beach break. The entire island of Bonaire is a protected marine park, and Sorobon Beach is situated in the center of it. A bay hidden amongst mangrove trees will take your breath away. Water up to your knees runs as far as the eye can see. The seagrass pastures attract a variety of sea life, so don't be shocked if a turtle passes by slowly.
