What You Will Do
This is what I call a “Indiana Jones excursion”. An unforgettable, crazy half-day adventure where you will take on the trails of the Dominican countryside.
From our ranch in Macao, we traverse the remote farmlands of northern Punta Cana, passing palm trees and tobacco plantations with the Eastern Cordillera in the background.
Our first stop is at a picturesque ranch in the countryside for an introduction to local products such as cacao, coffee, tobacco and Mamajuana (a Dominican aphrodisiac elixir) and green tea leaves.
Back on the rocky terrain, amid panoramic views of endless farmland and distant mountains, our excursion takes us to a picturesque cave filled with a deep natural well. Skip; Cool off and wash in these refreshing underground waters.
The longest leg of our journey is also the biggest contrast. From the hidden cave in the field, we return on our muddy path, and something else, to the shores of the photogenic Macau beach.

Macao Beach is a public beach located in the province La Altagracia in the east region of the Dominican Republic. It is popular among locals and visitors for its white sands, clear waters and those who seek some adventure since this is a popular destiny for buggy and four wheels riders and surfers.
