What You Will Do
This is a good overview of some of the hidden (and not so hidden) historic sites around the Magic City that covers what YOU are interested in. We start at the largest cast iron statue in the world and then proceed to a truly hidden gem of roasted and boiled peanuts. Then on to our only remaining plantation house to finish the discussions on the origins of the city. After that it is very much a choose your own adventure!
Interested in sports? We have the oldest ballpark in the United States and one of the oldest football stadiums. The Southern Negro League Museum and the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame are possibilities too!
Civil Rights? We can give you an overview on that with a stop by several of the major sites.
We have had guests request some true Southern food, and we can of course take you to absolute best off the path places to try our regions cuisine.
Due to the outside nature of some of the sites, if the weather is bad this tour is subject to cancelation due to weather.
