El Calafate

4 hours

The day before the tour starts, the guide will contact you on behalf of our agency: Howlanders, to indicate your pick-up time at your accommodation in El Calafate, as the tour has different departure times during the morning. Once together, you will head to the port ‘Bajo Las Sombras’, which is a few kilometers from the glacier viewpoint. In case you do not select the option that includes the transfer, you will meet the group directly at Puerto Bajo las Sombras, inside Los Glaciares National Park. There, we will take a boat and sail in front of the awe-inspiring south wall of the Perito Moreno Glacier. After disembarking, the guides will organize us into groups and we will walk for a few minutes until we reach the Glacier. The guide will then help us put on the crampons, thus starting the incredible trek through the ice of the most impressive glacier in the world.
