What You Will Do
The tour begins in Avenida Beira Mar, where the handicraft fair, the Iracema statue and the Mucuripe neighborhood are located.
Next, we will pass by the most famous beach of the city: Praia del Futuro and the neighborhood of Aldeota. There you will find Dom Luís Avenue, a tribute to the Archbishop of Fortaleza; Portugal Square, and the Church of Our Lady of Lebanon, the only Orthodox Church in the city. In addition, it is also in Aldeota that the mausoleum of former President Castelo Branco is located. The tour continues to the area of Iracema Beach.
We will stop at the Ponte dos Ingleses, also called Ponte Metálica. The tour passes by the Dragon Center of the Sea of Art and Culture and the city center. There you will find the Central Crafts Market, Schonemborch Fort, the Metropolitan Cathedral of Fortaleza, the Public Promenade, the train station and the old public chain, which today houses a crafts center.
