The Fisherman's Village, with its wonderful bars, restaurants, charming boutiques and the tranquility that is peculiar to the place, dazzle the visitors. ROUTE: Tour in Praia do Forte Air-conditioned tour guide and bilingual tour guide. We will start the tour at 07:30 in the city center, going through the hotels of Salvador and passing through the main beaches along the way. The guide will talk about the meaning of the names of the beaches, which are mostly indigenous names, also informing about culture, miscegenation, religion, economy, history, among other subjects. Departing from Salvador we will go along the Coqueiros Coast, Coco Road, a region in full development and expansion, with arrival expected to Praia do Forte between 10:30 and 11:00 hours. From the center of Salvador to Praia do Forte we will travel for 85km. In Mata de São João, a city where Praia do Forte is located, we will pass through an Environmental Protection Area and the Sapiranga Reserve with its lush Atlantic Forest, where in 1551 a medieval castle, Casa da Torre, was built. The work was carried out by Francisco Garcia D'Avila, who arrived with Tomé de Souza, the first Governor General of Bahia, on March 29, 1549, the date of the founding of the city of Salvador. Tomé de Souza docked at the Port of Barra, with its ships - ships of the time, equipped with a whole apparatus that started the construction of the fortress city in the highest plane, which is the city of Salvador. Francisco Garcia D'Ávila, according to some historians supposedly was bastard son of Tomé de Souza. After staying 2 hours 30 minutes in Praia do Forte, we will continue to Guarajuba, where we stop for lunch. With a privileged view to the natural swimming pools, suitable for relaxing in its wonderful warm waters, excellent for bathing of the sea, lunch with typical and international foods, especially the grilled seafood.
